Research day in London, Oxford St, Carnaby St and Shoreditch!

Hi All,
Today i have travelled to the big smoke! What a lovely day i have had, i found some amazing little boutiques and vintage shops! A day just wasn't enough in this wonderful place they call London. I gained a lot of inspiration and will be visiting again soon, take a look at some of the pics i managed to snap whilst i was down there. I must say how very proud i am to be English, bring on those independant shops...it's the way forward! I also need to say how much i am LOVING the 'made in England' clothing labels!! I have spent the whole day whooping with excitement as i turned every corner, especially in the wonderfully unique and quirky part of town they call Shoreditch! Love it!

Yesterday evening i ventured down to Abakhans fabric store in Manchester to enjoy a cheeky drink and a mince pie ;-) And to see what lovely things i could buy to make some more Pretties, with the added bonus of 20% off! What a success it was! It was sooo busy with everyone buying there xmas fabrics, i will be sewing away all weekend to make more georgous xmas decorations, i will keep you posted on my new pretties! Vicky's Pretties will be showing at Zion Arts Centre in Stretford, Manchester 10th Dec

Hi All,

Vicky's Pretties will be attending Zion Art's xmas craft fair at Manchester's Zion Arts centre on the 10th December!
The fair will run from 10am to 5pm and will run alongside the “family fun day”. The family fun day consists of a number of arts based activities for people to take part in. There will be screen printing and card making as well as there resident artist, Dave Coulter, doing live drawings and paintings for visitors.

Come along...it is totally free and what a way to kick start your xmas spirt!!
